Sky-Frame Installed in Soho!

SKY-FRAME is a unique system for large-surface, frame less, insulated sliding glass units whose surrounding frames can be installed flush with walls, ceilings and floors. The only visible part of the frame is a 1" thin vertical muntin where two elements overlap.

This allows for unimpeded panoramic views and threshold-free transitions between the inside and outside. In addition to the aesthetic advantages, the system also meets the highest standards in thermal insulation and safety. Due to a flush installed floor track, SKY-FRAME doors are ADA compliant and ideal for barrier-free and wheel-chair accessible buildings.

SKY-FRAME consists of insulated glazed sections. The sections are placed in aluminum frames which are recessed into the floor, walls and ceiling. The sliding sections rest on ball bearing rollers and glide effortlessly. Typical U-Va;ie is 0.37.

Fixed and sliding sections can be combined as desired- either alternating fixed and operable or with bi-parting sections. Triple tracks make it possible to slide several elements behind each other. Butt-glazed corners and sliding corners with no fixed corner post are also possible.

The maximum surface of each sliding section is approximately 65 Square Feet. The latch mechanism site flat against the frame and releases and engages the multi point locking system when lightly pushed.

SKY-FRAME is manufactured in Switzerland. Please contact us at Harrison Leigh with any questions.
